Rice Beans & Revolution began as a punk rock political zine more than 20 years ago while I was attending Pan American University (now UTRGV). I was heavily involved in the local punk rock scene, was playing in a band, INKBAG, and also working on Ride A Fuckin' Bike zine, and involved with a campus group called The Coven of Imagination, which used university funds, to throw punk rock shows on campus!
